Good Retreats is a curated series of wellness experiences rooted in cultural traditions from around the world, designed to nourish the body, awaken the mind, and restore the spirit. Each retreat honors ancestral and community wisdom, supports local and global initiatives, and helps to preserve and share rituals, practices, and knowledge across cultures.
This edition, A Day of Roots & Release for Women, draws inspiration from rural Moroccan and Amazigh traditions, offering rituals, movement, and herbal practices that cultivate presence, release, and connection. All women are welcome to experience wellness through ritual, mindful movement, and heart-centered community.
10% of proceeds support women cooperative farmers in rural Morocco, who are preserving indigenous practices and biodiversity.
In Morocco, women have long used the hammam not only for physical purification but also for ritual, social connection, and emotional release. It is a moment to honor the body, release tension, and reconnect with oneself, guided by practices passed down through generations. This experience incorporates steam, exfoliation, and herbal-infused rituals, creating a sensory, restorative, and grounding experience.
Participants are invited to immerse fully in this practice, enjoying the communal and ceremonial aspects of Moroccan wellness, and leaving refreshed, nourished, and deeply connected to the tradition.
